Honeyheart kept her eyes on the loner for a bit longer, until Stormstar's return to camp caught the queens attention instead. Her brown gaze softened when the leader walked in, proceeding to talk to the loner and easing some of her worries. Now that the leader was back, surely the stranger would be made to leave if there were any ill intentions. She let herself settle, but something began to occupy her conscious and discomfort her. She couldn't place it though, and figured that it was just the loner that had made her uncomfortable.
Her tail twitched some, but before she could think more on it, Pearkit was padding over. The round molly smiled at her, laughing some when once again a cat directed a greeting at her belly. She shifted where she sat to face Pearkit better, but found herself struggling to sit comfortably. A flash of unease lit her gaze, but was quickly masked with her usual happiness once more.
"Pearkit, hello! Fireflower sent you, hm?" She turned to look at the sick tom, and a pang of worry hit her heart. She hoped he'd be okay... But, that wasn't for her to worry about just now. She directed her attention once again to Pearkit, though for a moment it seemed as though she'd forgotten what she wanted to say. Her brown gaze flicked to the camp entrance, and an overwhelming feeling to leave hit her. But, that would just be rude!
"I'm doing just fine, thank you," she finally replied, though her attention was off of the young feline now. Honeyheart stood slowly, hesitating a moment before padding towards the camp entrance without a word. The fit-to-burst queen waddled with some haste, tail whipping back and forth behind her as she moved past cats and ducked out of the camp.
Finchpaw stretched out, lounging in the apprentice's den since Hopperstem had been busy on their own. He was content to laze about with his brother, but as soon as he heard his mother's voice he perked up. He rolled over onto his back and looked at the entrance to the den, smiling and stretching his paws out towards her.
"Hi Mom! What's going on?" he asked, finally sitting up straight and turning all of his attention to the daft molly. His fur was messy and stuck up in places, and he was probably due for a good grooming, but he hadn't noticed yet. Finchpaw simply smiled happily at Pearpetal, fondness and love for his mother shining in his eyes, as well as a genuine curiosity as to what she needed.
When Swanbreeze called however, Finchpaw's head lowered some, and he cast a glance to Flickerpaw. He wished it could just be his brother, his mother and him. No other cats always butting in or duties to do. He just wanted to be around his family! He let his green gaze settle on Swanbreeze where she was outside the den, tail flicking some.
