Despite the fact that it was storming outside, the air that hit his fur due to the precipitation felt nice. The air was cold as well but his thick pelt provided him some warmth. He got even warmer when Draftfeather came and leaned on him. Then he pushed his way outside the den and Hailbreeze's dark eyes went wide.
"Wa-wait!" He sped after his silver sibling, his long fur immediately soaking in the wet snow that fell. He didn't mind the cold but he hated how heavy water made him feel. He really wanted to wait til things calmed out but the overwhelming urge to make Draftfeather happy persisted in his head. So the tom didn't say anything and pushed after Draft. @moss
Clovercloud calmly watched Brimstone enter the den. His expression was natural. Happy to help a cat but still affected by the drama that occurred outside of the warriors den. He had watched Chestnutflower die and he had seen Ottercreek's body but he wasn't even aware of what was going on in the nursery.
He opened his mouth to talk to her once more. Greet her, ask her questions to who she was and why she was here. He shut it when he heard his name however. His rounded ears perked and he aimed his yellow gaze to where the voice came from. "I'm sorry." He stood up and began moving out of the den. "You can stay in my nest, someone needs me." He moved towards to Briarstar and made a mental note to talk about the loner.
Once he reached Briarstar, he nodded towards her. "Briarstar, you are aware of the loner who's been staying here?" He tilted his head but made sure to keep his voice steady and calm. He didn't want to seem disrespectful. Briarstar as a cat who deserved much respect. @moss ∞TEA∞
Opossumtail hadn't been in a deep sleep. She kind of went in and out of consciousness as it continued to storm outside. So when her name was called, it was easy for her to perk up and look outside. Cats were gathering but it didn't seem to be a meeting. She got up and did the same. The scent of death was heavy in camp and she looked to see Chestnutflower limp on the ground. Her expression turned grim and she closed her eyes. I'll hold vigil later. With concerned eyes, she looked back at the leader, urgency in her blue eyes. "What's going on?" ∞TEA∞
